Intercessory Prayer Ministry

EKM Intercessory Prayer Ministry The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is founded upon man’s God-given purpose to watch over the earth. Built upon exercising authority over the four prayer watches of the day and of the night, intercessors are praying during 24 hours of the day. EKM Intercessors pray strategically with specific assignments for the individual, the family, the church, the nation and the world. Our prayer services are designed to empower this generation to exercise their authority, live victoriously and experience the will of God on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

Mission

To produce a generation of powerful intercessors that pray effectively and minister in the prophetic realm. These intercessors have a mandate to commune with God through prayer and manifest His mind and His purpose in the earth.

Purpose

Genesis 2 vs. 15 (NKJV) describes God placing man in the Garden of Eden “to tend and to keep it”. The Hebrew word for keep, samar, is primarily used to refer to the watchman in the scriptures. Therefore, God’s original intent for man was that he should watch over the land. The Intercessory Prayer Ministry has been strategically placed in the earth to facilitate the mind of God and to constantly bombard the kingdom of darkness.

Intercessory Prayer Teams

Pastoral Intercessors - A group of strategic intercessors whose assignment is to pray for pastors and spiritual leadership on a local, national and global level.

Altar Intercessors - A group of intercessors that minister at the altar, mediating between the needs of individuals and God. Altar Intercessors pray against strategies of adversary to ensure spiritual breakthrough and growth in the Kingdom of God

Gate Keepers Battalion (GKB) - GKB is a special group of intercessors whose mandate is to apply intelligent and strategic prayers to bombard the kingdom of darkness in a 24 hour prayer watch. Each group of prayer intercessors exercises authority over a particular watch, focusing on a single spiritual assignment. All groups pray effective strategic prayers paving the way for the will of God to be done on earth.

Commanding the Morning

Intercessory prayer at EKM is built upon the foundation of the four prayer watches of the day. It is during this intercessory prayer meeting that our congregation exercises authority in the 9 am to the 12 pm watch. We believe that during this time, we have the power to pray God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Beyond the Veil
Every 3rd Friday at 8:00 pm
Beyond the Veil is an intercessory prayer service that is strategically designed to exercise faith in prayer on behalf of our church, our city, the nation and the world. The agenda for this night includes praise and worship, biblically sound teaching, and powerful purpose-filled prayer.
